CBSK MEETS KQ PLC
The leadership of the Chamber of Business Sectors in Kenya (CBSK), headed by National Executive Chairman Dr. Samuel Warwathe, held a meeting with Mr. Isaac Mwangi, KQ’s Coordinator of Government and Industry Affairs and Ms.Eunice Chepkemboi The Lead Business Development under Fahari Aviation which is one of the main subsidiaries of KQ PLC.
The discussions centered on forming strategic partnerships which are not limited to collaborations that enhance export and import opportunities for CBSK members, as well offering special ticketing rates for members engagement in both domestic and international travels.
Dr. Warwathe underscored the importance of policies that could boost trade within the East African Community (EAC) region by advocating and strengthening bilateral air services agreements and urged KQ to advocate for these measures. In response, Mr. Mwangi highlighted Kenya Airways’ support for favourable airway policies in the EAC, Climate Change and sustainability.He emphasized on how such initiatives could benefit businesses in the region.
Ms.Eunice Chepkemboi highlighted the use of Fahari Aviation Suitainable technologies that include use of drone technologies currently being used within Agriculture, manufacturing and security sector to boost surveillance.
The meeting was further attended by CBSK Directors Mr. Joseph Mathenge, Advocate Judy Kamoing , Mr Pius Ewoton, the National women in Business Chairperson Ms.Colleen C.Rotich and the CBSK Chief Executive Officer Ms.Penah Mutinda who echoed on the need to continue with the strategic partnership and invited KQ for the upcoming Industry aviation segment
