4TH EDITION OF SYOKIMAU TRADE EXPO AND CONFERENCE
The Chamber of Business is proud to participate in the Syokimau Trade Expo, running from 28th November to 1st December at 777 Recreational Centre. This significant event brings together key sectors in Kenya, fostering collaboration and highlighting advancements in innovation, sustainability, and an inclusive community.
During the panel discussion & amongst other speakers Mr. John Mwangangi Kilonzo, CECM for Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, and SME Development Machakos County government, emphasized the importance of adopting innovative technologies. He proposed the establishment of ICT hubs and the promotion of technology-driven practices to support community development.
Ms. Penah Mutinda, CEO of the Chamber of Business, reinforced this vision by calling on the private sector to play a proactive role in advancing innovation. She highlighted the need to balance innovation with sustainability by empowering SMEs through funding, mentorship, and market access. This, she noted, would fuel grassroots innovation and drive meaningful progress across communities.
The exhibitions remains a vital platform for exchanging ideas and cultivating partnerships and collaborations that enhance Kenya’s economic and social impact within communities.
