The Chamber of Business Fraternity recently paid a courtesy visit to Ripple Effect, a UK-based NGO dedicated to driving positive change in Africa through climate-positive agricultural business practices, social enterprise development, and gender and youth inclusion in agri-businesses.

During this insightful meeting, both organizations explored potential areas for impactful collaboration, including:

▪︎ Capacity building and farmer training to enhance skills and knowledge.

▪︎ Optimizing aggregation centers for key agricultural value chains nationwide.

▪︎ Hosting B2B farmer exhibitions and stakeholder forums to connect farmers with marketing cooperatives.

▪︎ Facilitating agripreneurship B2Bs and fostering support for contract farming.

▪︎ Co-creating joint programs and projects to maximize impact.

The meeting was graced by distinguished leaders, including: Dr. Fred Ochieng, Ripple Effect Africa Director, Ms. Winnifred Mailu, Head of Thematic Support and Capacity Building at Ripple Effect, Dr. Samuel Warwathe, Chamber President, Mr. Hassan Wario, Chamber Vice President, Ms. Judith Kamoing’, Chamber National Director and Ms. Penah Mutinda, Chamber CEO.
